How To Build a Qliphort Deck

Introduction to Qliphorts

Alright, the first thing you need to understand what the Qliphort archtype is all about....

The strategy of Qliphorts involve benefiting from either being tributed or tributing other Qliphorts.

Qliphorts are more about beating your opponent quickly before your opponent can do anything(beat down deck)

That being said, its clear that Qliphorts are more about speed and offense rather then defense, you will likely not have to run any trap cards asides a select few.

Cards you NEED for Qliphorts:

Pendulum Effect You cannot Special Summon monsters, except "Qli" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. Once per turn: You can pay 800 LP; add 1 "Qli" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Qliphort Scout".  Recommended amount: 3 each in deck Why this card is important:  this card can keep your deck flow nice and consistent, it will reduce the likely-hood of a a dead draw. Card Effect:Equip only to a "Qli" monster. It gains 300 ATK and cannot be destroyed by battle. The equipped monster can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a "Qli" monster. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Qli" monster from your Deck to your hand.  Recommended Amount:3 Why this card is important: This card not only prevents your Qliphort cards from being destroyed by battle but upon being sent from the field to the grave, it will allow you to search for a Qliphort monster in your deck such as Qliphort scout! So its pretty much a good blocker and searcher.Its especially useful for making it easy to summon the Qliphort boss cards. Card Effect:  Add 1 Level 5 or higher Normal Monster from your Deck to your hand Recommended Amount: 3 Each Why This Card is Important: The card can be used to search for Qliphort Scout which may i remind you is also important for keeping your deck nice and consistent.  Useful Cards Tips: Card Effect:Neither player can Special Summon monsters. If a card is sent from the Deck or the field to your Graveyard: Destroy this card. Recommended Amount: 3 Comment: This card can be very useful in a Qliphort deck because pendulum monster that are destroyed while on the field are sent to the extra deck instead of the grave which will prevent vanity's emptiness from being destroyed.   Card Effect: Once during this turn, if you would Tribute a monster(s) for a Tribute Summon, you can Tribute 1 monster your opponent controls as if you controlled it. You can only activate 1 "The Monarchs Stormforth" per turn. During the turn you activate this card, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. Recommended Amount: 2 Comment: This card is  useful for tribute summoning your lower level Qliphort cards for your boss Qliphort cards   Pendulum Effect: When you Pendulum Summon a monster(s): You can target 1 card in either player's Pendulum Zone; return that target to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Performapal Trampolynx" once per turn.             Recommended Amount: 2-3(your choice)            Comment: This card is useful for looping Qliphort scout search because when you pendulum summmon while this card and Qliphort scout are in the pendulum zones, you return qliphort scout to your hand nullifying the "once per turn rule".
